Synchronize and access your google drive files on Ubuntu desktop using Gnome Online Accounts, Few days ago we posted How To Synchronize Yandex Disk on Linux Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS, This post about how to synchronize google drive with local folder on Ubuntu Desktop. Let's say this is Ubuntu-Google drive integration.
For Ubuntu Gnome user it doesn't need to install additional software or tools, but for those wo using Ubuntu and doesn't have Gnome Online Accounts installed, we need to install it first. Run this command to install Gnome Online Accounts :
1. Open Gnome Online Accounts
This could be found in All Setting --> Online Accounts or type this command:
2. Adding Gnome Online Accounts
- Click "+" plus button to add Online accounts.
- Next you will see "Google" , click to add Google account.
- fill your Google account and Password. (see image 1)
- Scroll down and click Allow to allow Gnome Online Accounts access your Google account.
- Select Which services you want to use.
- Cause we want to synchronize and access our google drive files, Select: Documents, Photos and files.
- Done, Now we can access our google drive files.
